Artistic crises, hunger for success and the search for an anti-patriotic concept of homeland: This film debut takes a merciless look at the Belgrade summer of 2022, in which the pop musician Milena Patagônia decides to redefine her “Yugo” identity. She becomes a game character who takes the audience on a surreal journey through Serbia's capital. The camera moves between slow cinema and lo-fi footage. Field recordings, beats and produced songs mix into a multidimensional big city soundtrack.

I’m a freelance musician (BA in Sound Arts), performer, and former culture journalist. I currently serve on the PROGR Atelierjury and was part of the City of Bern’s Culture Commission (2016-2024). As an active artist (Milena Patagônia, Cruise Ship Misery) and jury member, I know the realities of indie art from all sides.

I specialize in cultural funding in the field of music, with a focus on the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Thanks to my interdisciplinary work, I’m also familiar with the formal requirements of other artistic disciplines. This allows me to offer well-rounded advice – whether your project is music-related or cross-disciplinary.
